With Pear Tree Crossing progressing through a pre-planning design and consultation stage, The LDA continue to engage on the design progress for the regeneration project. The LDA, along with its design team, is continuing to develop designs which respond to the challenges and opportunities associated with developing a vacant, urban, heritage site.

The LDA is bringing forward the emerging proposal for Pear Tree Crossing, the transformation of a 2.64 ha site across four developments in Dublin 8 with the potential to deliver 716 homes.
The proposals seek to create a vibrant and inclusive neighbourhood with improved public realm, active travel connections and qualityopen spaces, while also responding to the site’s historic character and its longstanding relationship with the local community.
