The LDA’s Hampton Demesne development in Balbriggan will comprise 817 affordable purchase, cost rental and social homes. They will be delivered across a range of housing options including one-, two- and three-bed apartments, and two-, three-, four-bed houses, and three-bed duplexes.
The first phase of construction will deliver a new park with recreational amenities for all age groups, including playgrounds, multi-use games areas, basketball courts, an outdoor gym, skateboard plaza, and bike/pump track. A creche is planned as part of the second phase.
The scheme will also support the delivery of the new Castlelands Link Road, which will connect Hamilton Road with the R127 Skerries Road.
Ballymore has been appointed as construction partner for this development with the first phase of the development underway. This phase is expected to be delivered by the end of 2027.
The scheme will deliver 259 A-rated homes in the initial phase, including a mix of 2-, 3- and 4-bed houses with private rear gardens. All of the homes in this initial sales phase will be made available to eligible buyers through the Starter Home Purchase Scheme.
